Last night was indeed a Delbert night.

Wow!

I stayed up late. Had a great time. Heard some awesomely wonderful music. And I feel great!

Music-Maven friend had a bunch of tickets, was on the (paid for ticket, but get great privileges) guest list, but his wife was sick, his usual arm-candy female, fellow music aficionado was sick as well. His other music friends had something they couldn't back out of, ergo the available tickets.

Don't get the wrong idea. We'd been invited and encouraged, cajoled and coaxed to come several times earlier. We were just feeling we had too much else going on.

mmm... Lesson to be learned: Doing what I want, even though it can take a good bit of energy to do it, can make me more energized after I do it. Investing my time and energy in positive things returns a profit of energy.

I have to finish a job application to do something more in line with What I Want.
